5 Indoor Plants Which Will Keep You Away From Pollution and Diseases Arising Out of It

Today, hardly any person will be unknown due to the increasing pollution problem and diseases arising out of it. Although the polluted air is dangerous for everyone, its maximum effect is seen in children, the elderly, and pregnant women.

Trees are called natural air purifiers that purify the air as well as protect them from many diseases. There are many indoor plants that are used not only to enhance the beauty of the house but also to clean the contaminated air inside.

Plants that purify the air

1. Basil

Tulsi is a natural air purifier. This plant releases oxygen for 20 out of 24 hours. The basil plant absorbs carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide.

2. Rubber Plant

If you feel the need for a touch of pure air and nature in the closed room of the office, then rubber plants are best to keep there. Even a little sunlight is enough to keep them alive. Their ability to release the atmosphere from harmful organic compound formaldehyde released by wooden furniture is excellent.

3. Snake plant

This plant is also known as Mother-in-Laws-Tong. It is best in filtering formaldehyde, a hazardous element in the air. Harmful ingredients are usually released into the environment through chemical-based cleaners, paints, toilet paper, tissues, and personal care products. Since this plant does not require much sunlight and can survive in a humid environment, it is a good idea to plant the pot of the snake plant in the bathroom. In another case, the snake plant is inverted from other plants. At night it releases oxygen by absorbing carbon dioxide, so it is good to put it in the bedroom.

5. Spider Plant

They are also known as airplane plants. Do not fall on direct sunlight, but if you get enough light, then they remain green. According to several studies, the spire plant has the ability to remove formaldehyde from the air and also removes harmful contaminants from the air, such as ammonia and benzene.

6. Money Plant

The money plant is a vine. Its size is 7 to 10 centimeters long. This plant is easily found in most homes. It can also be grown in an empty bottle. This plant has the ability to absorb carbon dioxide present in the air and excrete oxygen. Money plant gives pure oxygen to our breath by reducing CO2 in air.
